Wylde Flowers - Forest

I had the amazing opportunity to lead the forest level as a whole, where the main focus was revisiting the layout and level design. This included revisiting the older layout and pathways, vertex painting, lightbakes, and revisiting the placement of buildings or major areas (like the magical trees or coven area or Shelby's home). A lot of cutscenes take place in the forest so it was important to work with the team to make sure placement of assets lined up with how the characters needed in order to better tell the story.

During my time at Studio Drydock, I also implemented assets into the level in efforts to streamline the process and keep things organized. In addition to the farm, I'm very proud of how the forest came out and it was very much a team effort that I was glad to lead. Major props to Kyle Dey for helping me create the trees and clumps of forest floor and rocky edges, and overall being a huge help in it's completion.
