Rock Challenge Studies - January 2021

I decided to participate in a discord challenge for the Club (link below), which was called The Club's Rocking New Year. I wanted to share my growth throughout the process. We were given a base mesh each day and had roughly an hour to sculpt a rock out of it. I learned a lot about how I enjoy sculpting but also how to speed up my process a bit more when it comes to sculpting. Every couple of days I would also try new techniques to see if I enjoyed bringing in different aspects. I also would like to note that all my rocks were rendered the same way with only some changes to angle of the lighting.

Lots of thanks to Michael 'Orb' Vicente's brush set and rendering tips - I was able to get a lot of cool rocks and put my own spin on how he render's his sculpts. I hope to do more rock studies in the future and combine them here, possibly, but for now, enjoy these rocks throughout the month!
